Before the land plan was executed, countless hours were spent poring over books and historical documents depicting the patterns of Tuscan streetscapes and villages. They visited California golf communities, historical east coast courses, and the old world villages nestled along the hillsides of Tuscany. Notable resort communities, Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Dove Canyon, California were also instrumental in the planning process of Cimarron Hills. Every effort was taken leave the perfectly positioned shade trees and remnant architecture, and to incorporate the Tuscan influence through every aspect of the common areas of Cimarron Hills Golf & Country Club.
