His early career took him to restaurants across Europe, including: Cambridge, England; Paris, France; and Dortmund, Germany. He then joined Princess Cruise Line and worked for five years on routes to the Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera, Caribbean and Alaska. He left the high seas for the dry land of California and then for Florida, where he worked at the Four Seasons Palm Beach Resort. Di Martino later joined Trump Mar-A-Lago Club on Palm Beach as Maitre D’Hotel and food and beverage manager. There he was in charge of such large events as Donald Trump’s wedding and a concert for Elton John.
